Cairngorm Mountain is home to Scotland’s only mountain railway returning for early

wild garden or out onto the mountain, Cairngorm gin tasting, mountain biking trails,

In winter the resort transforms to Scotland’s most popular ski resort.

Alvie & Dalraddy Estates

Alvie & Dalraddy Estates is a 13,500-acre traditional Highland estate in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, located just off the A9 road and a few miles south of Aviemore.

For the travel trade, we offer a flexible range of accommodation, activities and authentic estate experiences. Accommodation includes self-catering apartments in Alvie House and cottages, plus lodges, camping and touring at Dalraddy Holiday Park.

As a working Highland estate, we combine woodland, moorland, farming, forestry and quarries, creating a strong sense of place.

Experiences include guided estate tours with the Laird, farm tours with the farm team, clay pigeon shooting, and seasonal wildlife activities such as red deer photography and red squirrel watching/photography. Blair Castle and Gardens

Blair Castle is nestled in the stunning Perthshire countryside, a 90 minute drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, it is just off the main A9 route 7 miles north of Pitlochry.

There is much to explore at Blair Castle, a 5 star visitor attraction, not only the 700 years of Scottish history across 30 rooms which showcase the finest furniture, porcelain and much more but also the incredibly beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding the castle. Blair Castle is the ideal place for groups to spend time, the private coach park is within 100 yards of the castle and there is also a gift shop and restaurant to be enjoyed.

The castle is open from April 1st to October 30th, 7 days a week 9am – 5.30pm and group discounts are available for groups over 12. Pre booking is advised for larger groups and lunch and afternoon tea options are available.

Free-Ski is a Snowsports School , based in Aviemore, operating on Cairngorm Mountain. We are the only BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors ) approved Ski School operating on Cairngorm Mountain. Glenshee Ski Centre

Glenshee Ski Centre offers an ideal stop for travel trade groups exploring the Cairngorms National Park. Located at the highest point of the A93 on both the SnowRoads Scenic Route and North East 250, the Cairnwell Pass provides a scenic and convenient break for touring itineraries.

Operating from May to October, the Cairnwell Chairlift (weather permitting) offers a seven-minute journey to panoramic mountain views, while the Base Café and Tea@TheShee provide flexible catering options for groups.

Railway Cottage and Hillview Cottage are both surrounded by stunning open countryside not far from the beautiful Balavil, Kinrara and Alvie estates as well as the Highland Wildlife park and Highland Folk museum. As its name suggests, Railway Cottage is a delight for train spotters and its location by the RSPB nature reserve at Insh Marshes makes it an ideal base for bird watchers. Springfield House is located in Carrbridge, a quaint highland village surrounded by ancient pine forests and home to the iconic packhorse bridge and the ever popular Landmark Adventure Park.

Abernethy Golf Club

Golf in the Highlands of Scotland is a unique, authentic experience, not replicated elsewhere. And no more so than traditional 9 hole course in Nethy Bridge which takes advantage of the natural contours in the landscape. Surrounded by magnificent Scots pines and with wide ranging views of Strathspey, the course provides a true golfing challenge for all players. We welcome visitors of all standards and usually have tee times available for individuals and small groups.

Light catering can be provided by prior arrangement.

In the vicinity there are a range of other courses to choose from so a visit to Abernethy can fit in well with golf tours, maybe on day of arrival or leaving where the 9 hole format works well.

Braemar Castle
